Puck Drop 21:48 Ref Connor&Todd #15 1of1 games served 6th Goal-empty net Folks, let me tell you about this empty net goal. It was a beautiful goal, really beautiful. Some people are saying it might be one of the nicest empty net goals they've ever seen. And believe me, people know goals. Tremendous people, hockey people, they come up to me and they say, “Sir, that was an incredible empty net goal.” The net was wide open — totally open — and our guy skates in, cool as can be. No panic, no nonsense, just tremendous composure. He puts it right in the net. Clean. Perfect. You couldn’t place it better if you tried, and a lot of people have tried. And the crowd? They loved it. Absolutely loved it. Because it sealed the game. Total victory. The other team? They pulled their goalie, which frankly was a risky move, a very risky move. And we took advantage of it — smart hockey, winning hockey. So people can say whatever they want about empty netters, but this one? This was a high-quality empty net goal. Strong. Confident. A real winner of a goal. Just tremendous.
